“To all my Imperial subjects; including, of course, the many cooperative Elevens who choose to serve the Empire of Britannia:
Do you not see my pain? My heart was ripped from my chest only to be torn apart! The remnants are filled with rage and sadness! However, as viceroy of Area Eleven, I will not tolerate terrorism of any kind! Because the battle we fight is a righteous one, a virtuous battle, to protect the well-being of one and all!
Now then, everyone, I would like you to join me in observance of the eight who died for justice in the line of duty.”
The final syllable delivered, the request for a moment of silence granted, and the façade of a caring prince thrown into place, the gears are now set in motion for what is to become quite possibly the most cataclysmic war in the history of the planet. While the Holy Empire of Britannia tightens its grip around the fate of reason, calling this destruction justice, very few dare to stand against them.
Though many rebellions may have been attempted, none seem to have amounted to anything, whatsoever. Even the Japanese Liberation Front, quite possibly the most well-equipped enemy of Britannia in this hemisphere, has been forced into complete isolation, as even Tohdoh the miracle worker could not stall the momentum generated by the superpower. Battles have raged, blood has been spilled, countless lives lost…yet none of these factors will affect the fate of Britannia as much as the events about to unfold, with the mere theft of a seemingly innocuous motor vehicle, carrying what might be the most precious cargo in the history of Britannia itself.
Yet there are more forces at work than Britannia, or even the Japanese Liberation Front. One must not forget the always-present military force of the Chinese Federation, which has gathered a respectable amount of power, enough to secure them against a Britannian annexation. Along with this, many terrorist cells have cropped up within seemingly all areas of Britannia…Area Eleven being of particular importance to this tale. Yet another, rising power is about to take hold of the country. For Britannia has meddled into affairs that could very well spell the end of its way of life. And the power that was once a mere topic of research, Geass, could be the weapon of mass destruction needed to bring the nation to its knees.
A moment of silence, please…
